QRious payment app is a mobile application that allows users to make payments using QR codes. QR codes can be scanned using a smartphone's camera, allowing users to quickly and easily authorize payments.
Project Overview
QR (Quick Response) code payment is a type of contactless payment method that allows
customers to make payments by scanning a
QR code using their smartphone.
Problem Statement
Most people feel frustrated when they try to go cashless and secure option of payment and easily scan
QR Code especially for impromptu occasions without worrying
about Bank Apps, low shortage of cash.
THE GOAL: Creating the QR code payments stems from the need to
simplify and streamline the payment process for users.
User Research
We interviewed 20 adults between the ages of 20-35 via survey forms and face to face interviews to enable a proper understanding of their pain points and put their needs first.
A few questions are listed below.
1. What payment methods do you currently use in Nigeria?
2. Have you used QR payment systems before?
3. What challenges have you experienced when using QR payment systems?
4.What features would you like to see in a payment app?
5. How concerned are you about the security of your bank details and debit card information when using a payment app?
